Liskeard Netball Club have started their 2015-16 season well.

New faces as well as returning players have strengthened both squads as they look to improve on the last two seasons in the Plymouth and District League.

Tigers, captained this season by Jo Nickle in Division 1, finished last season mid-table but are looking for a top three finish in the same division this season.

Cougars, who spent the first part of last season at the top of Division 4, will be looking to retain this position all season and will push for promotion into Division 3 under the captaincy of Gabi Duffey.

South West Bowen Therapy, based at China Fleet Country Club, have kindly sponsored Liskeard Netball Club this season.

Claire Makarewicz from South West Bowen attended a recent training session to present the newly-embroided club dresses and to offer her services to the club.

Liskeard Netball Club train on Thursday evenings from 8.30pm to 10pm at Lux Park Leisure Centre, Liskeard, and would welcome any women looking to start or return to the sport.
