Tideford v. Liskeard

TIDEFORD claimed a five-wicket victory in this match thanks to a knock of 49 not out from Lawrence Marsh, who was playing his first game of the season for the hosts.

Liskeard won the toss and surprised everyone by choosing to bat first on a low, slow pitch that had occasional variable bounce.

Shackled by the return of Chris Anderson to the bowling attack, the visitors made slow progress after the early departure of Jim Maunder.
