EAST Cornwall windsurfer Louis Morris has sailed out of his skin to take a podium position in a top youth fixture in the Czech Republic.

The 20-year-old from Trethevy at St Cleer, near Liskeard, had one of his best-ever regattas, emerging from the gruelling six-day event with a bronze medal.

The 'Grand Prix' for the International Raceboard Class attracted 110 competitors from 18 countries and four continents, and was hosted by the prestigious Yacht Club Dyje at Nove Mlyny Lake, Pavlov, set in the Pálava National Park.
