THE Mirror fleet took centre stage in Looe Bay last Saturday, with the South West Area Championship being contested over three races.

Tom Cosier and Neve O'Neill, from Restronguet Sailing Club, on the River Fal, were the deserved winners after claiming two victories and a second-place finish.

Esther Bowdler and Ollie Hawkins were runners-up, with fellow home pair Billy Palfrey and Jack Sargent in third.

Trophies were presented in the clubhouse by Looe Sailing Club president Dominic Lozynski.
