A SUNNY Sunday afternoon saw Liskeard play the Annapurna Warriors in the second T20 match of the series.

Liskeard skipper Brian Phillips lost the toss and was asked to bat.

Jamie Coates (30) and Mark Lister (55) got Liskeard off to a flier, dispatching the bowling to all parts of the ground along with some quick running.

Will Andrew (four) fell foul of some over eagerness from Lister and was duly run out. Martin Mote (eight), demoted to No.4 in the order, was bowled playing around a straight one.

Andrew Cobb, with 49 off 16 balls, produced some Kevin Pietersen-style batting, turning the game on its head before being bowled by Harrison trying to send the ball to Menheniot!

Connor Barrett (three) failed to contribute much but Brian Phillips (18) pushed the score on.
