... and FINALLY!!! A win!... Liskeard Athletic officials took to Facebook on Wednesday night to express their joy as the Blues finally picked up their first Carlsberg South West Peninsula League win of the season with a slender 1-0 Premier Division victory over Elmore at Horsdon Park.

The praise continued: 'Well done to all the lads; the long trip on a Wednesday evening makes the journey home a shorter one.

'The hard work is paying off and well done to everyone... and yet another clean sheet, too.'
