The extra points help-ed his team of Richard Fletcher and Martin Biddlecombe win the Mafia competition with 83 points, one better than runners-up Brian Norman, Rob Inglod and Dave Mclean, with Brian Twigger, Terry Platts and Bryan Sibley third on 79 points. Later in the week, the Seniors' team played the home leg of their annual match with Merlin.
