STUDENTS from the Torpoint New Wave Taekwondo and Kick Boxing Club came back with four gold medals from the PUMA (Professional Unification of Martial Arts) Southern England Championships.

The championships, held in Plymouth, attracted more than 250 competitors, with the Torpoint club taking four gold medals, as well as silver and bronze at sparring and patterns.

One of the youngest to gain a gold medal was four-year-old Jack Medlin, a member of the 'Little Pumas' (four-to-seven years age group). He also gained silver in patterns.
