SAM Hocking has returned to his home-town club, Liskeard-Looe, to help out with the coaching for the forthcoming season.
The 27-year-old left Lux Park in 2005 to join Launceston, and spent five seasons at Polson Bridge before moving to Championship side Plymouth Albion.
Hocking recently agreed a new contract with Albion to spend a third year at Brickfields, after making 28 League appearances for them last season, but he will combine his playing duties with coaching Liskeard.
Hocking, who played for Cornwall at No.8 during the County Championship in May, will be assistant to head coach Mark Goldsmith, who is delighted to see Hocking return.
Said Goldsmith: 'Sam has been leading a lot of the pre-season training sessions.
'Sam is working towards his Level Three coaching award, and has committed himself to Liskeard-Looe for the whole season, working around his Plymouth Albion commitments.'
