IN an entertaining Tribute Cornwall and Devon League clash that produced 11 tries, Liskeard-Looe completed the double over their Cornish rivals with a 43-31 victory

Flanker Baz Hocking had a field day for the Lions. He scored 23 points, with two tries and 13 points from the boot.

Hornets were 12-3 up at the end of the first quarter with two tries from right wing Rob McIntyre, centre Liam Freeman converted one. Hocking kicked the visitors' penalty.

But it was 24-19 at the break as Emerson Allan, Mark Moody and Andy Sheer got the tries for the visitors. Hocking converted all three and full-back Mark Robins went over for Hornets, with Freeman converting.

An injury to Hornets No.8 Tim Eustice forced a substitution at half-time.

Within three minutes of the restart, the strong running of Hocking had stret-ched the Lions' lead with a try that he converted himself.

In the fourth quarter, Hocking followed up a pushover try from No.8 Ali Hill with a conversion and scored his second try to make it 43-19.
