DOBWALLS travelled to Higher Efford to face Friary Mill in their last FIL Devon Junior and Minor League match of the season, knowing they still needed a single point to claim the Under-15 Defiance Championship. Blustery conditions made it impossible for the players to put together a flowing performance, and both teams went into the half-time break with little to show for their efforts. The second period was more eventful, with the visitors having more shots but not finding the target. And they were made to pay for their missed opportunities when a good passage of play led to Friary opening the scoring.
