Luckett haven’t seen so many cars at the Chapel Field for years! There was a smashing turnout for the Alan Parker Memorial match on Sunday. A Tideford/Stoke Climsland side, captained by Alan’s son Nick, rattled up 236 for 6 in 35 overs and in reply an all-star Luckett scored 160 for 8. There was a barbecue, drinks, a cake stand and a raffle with the £580 proceeds going to Cancer Research. The match was in memory of Alan who played cricket for Tideford, Stoke Climsland and Luckett, and died in May last year.
