?Each school can only enter a maximum of six children for each race with the first four children back to count for the team score.

Registration is from 3.15pm. Could each school provide one marshal to help out on the course and please could entry monies of £1/child be handed in by the teacher/person in charge of each team when registering, collecting the marshal bib and results wallet.

Please ensure children are supervised throughout and the premises are left litter free. It is up to the person in charge of each school to ensure that their children are supervised throughout the afternoon.

It would be a good idea for each school to invest in a weather-proof clip board for use at cross country when the weather is difficult. These can be obtained from Running Imp http://www.runningimp.co.uk/ if your own PE equipment the supplier doesn’t stock.

Running across country can be hazardous. A thorough risk assessment of the course has been undertaken but all participants must be aware that they compete at their own risk.

Neither organisers or landowners will accept any responsibility for loss, damage or injury, howsoever caused. Each child must be in good health and have done some suitable training.

Cups of water/squash will no longer be supplied after each race but you will be able to purchase (at cost price) small bottles of drink or bring your own.

In the event of poor weather the organisers will contact each school before 12.30pm.
