St Mellion Golf club member and Duchy College student Megan Giles won a sudden-death play-off against Spain’s Carlota Sanchez on a windy but blazing sunshine-drenched Finca Cortesin Golf Club to win the 2015 Junior European Open. Megan is studying on the Tournament Golf College Development Programme and to qualify won the regional final in the UK.
She was then invited to play in the champions week in Spain.
