Launceston Golf Club past captains Jan Harrison and Dick Knight presented cheques to their chosen charities from the monies raised during their term of office, during the joint St Piran’s and Captains’ Drive-In day.
Cornwall Air Ambulance and the Intensive Care Unit at Derriford Hospital benefited to a total of £10,000 from the generosity of club members. The cheques were given to Paul Ford from Cornwall Air Ambulance and Lucy Parker from Derriford Hospital.
