Something has to give today when the only two teams with 100 per cent records in Carlsberg South West Peninsula League division one west meet at Lux Park (3pm).

Third in the table Liskeard Athletic go into the match having won all six of their opening league fixtures this season.

But their visitors, Porthleven, made it seven out of seven on Tuesday night when they thrashed Penzance 5-1 to go to the top of the table.

Liskeard joint manager Martin Hodge said: ‘The players are up for this one in which something is going to give.

‘Hopefully we will have everyone available for selection – it should be a good game for the supporters.’

The game is expected to be the last for a couple of months for goalkeeper Josh Gilbert, who is off to Australia to work.
