Saltash United returned to the top of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League on Wednesday night following a 6-1 victory over Godolphin Atlantic at the Kimberley Stadium.

Goals came from Luke Avis-Riordan, Lewis Russell, Chris Menhenick, Sam Hughes, Callum Hall and top scorer Ryan Richards, with his 22nd goal of the season.

Godolphin’s reply was a spectacular 40-yard lob when the visitors were trailing 2-0 just after half-time.
