Saltash missed the chance to move into second place in the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League premier division on Tuesday night - but in the end they were grateful for a point at Burngullow Park.
The Ashes found themselves 2-0 down after an hour against the bottom team who had were searching for their first league win of the season.
Sticker were also down to 10 men after the sending off of Frank McAvoy for an alleged butt on Saltash midfield man Sam Farrant.
But the Ashes staged a dramatic late comeback, with Ryan Richards reducing the deficit four minutes from time, before Sam Hughes bundled in an injury time equaliser.
Elsewhere on Tuesday, leaders Plymouth Argyle Reserves fought back from 2-0 down to beat second placed St Austell 5-2.
And Bodmin Town won 6-3 at Newquay, with Glyn Hobbs opening the scoring inside 10 seconds from the kick-off.
