Saltash United and Liskeard Athletic will be without games on Saturday - whatever the weather throws at Cornwall this weekend.

Both South East Cornwall clubs have been affected by last weekend’s third postponement of the Devon Premier Cup tie between Elmore and Holsworthy.

That match has been rescheduled for this Saturday, which means Saltash’s trip to Elmore in the Walter C Parson League Cup is off.

And Liskeard’s scheduled SWPL division one west match at home to Holsworthy is also off.

A league spokesman said: ’It had been hoped that it could be played midweek on a 3G to avoid the affects of pushing it back to Saturday but this has not been possible.’
