MILLBROOK have announced an attractive list of pre-season friendlies as they prepare for their first season in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division, writes Nigel Walrond.
They kick off on Tuesday, July 6 with a home game against Saltash United Reserves.
That is then followed four days later – on Saturday, July 10 – by the visit of Southern League Premier South side Truro City to Jenkins Park.
Next up, Brook are on the road for a game at Pennygillam against South West Peninsula League Premier West side Launceston on Friday, July 16.
The SWPL also provides the opposition for their fourth match, at home to St Austell, on Monday, July 19, before they round off their fixtures with a home game against arch rivals Torpoint Athletic on Saturday, July 24.
A disappointment of Brook’s promotion to the Western League for the 2021-22 campaign is the loss of their two local derbies against Torpoint in Premier East.
They never played each other last season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
