JAMES Lorenz took his season’s tally to 13 with four more goals as Liskeard Athletic won the south east Cornwall derby at Callington Town 5-1 on Wednesday night, writes Nigel Walrond.

Substitute Rob Cleveland got the Blues’ other goal in injury time, while Billy Coton got a goal back for Callington three minutes from the end of normal time.

It lifted Liskeard up to fourth place in the South West Peninsula League Premier West table.

Saltash United remain the only unbeaten team in the division following their hard-fought 4-2 home win over previously undefeated leaders Camelford.

Young strikers Reece Thomson and Ben Holter got on the scoresheet for a third successive game, while Sam Farrant and an own goal completed their scoring.

Dan Jennings continued his rich vein of scoring form with a hat-trick in Bodmin Town’s 7-1 home win over Launceston.

Sam Hillson, Mason Hughes, Kyle Marks and an own goal completed Bodnin’s tally.

On Tuesday night, in Premier East, Millbrook fought back from 1-0 down at Elburton Villa to win 2-1, thanks to late goals from Dan Chapman and Ross Hamilton, while Torpoint suffered a shock 3-2 home defeat to Dartmouth, after leading 1-0 and 2-1, with their goals coming from Curtis Damerell and Lewis Young.
