Liskeard Athletic made it three South West Peninsula League Premier West wins on the trot with a 2-0 victory over St Austell at Lux Park.

It keeps up the pressure on leaders Wendron United, who are 13 points ahead but have played three games more.

It was goalless at the break as the Lilywhites sought to bounce back from their 3-0 home defeat to Bodmin Town on Saturday.

However, the Blues pulled clear in the second half with goals by Macauley Thorp and Dan Jennings -
