UNBEATEN SWPL Premier East outfit Torpoint Athletic have been handed a trip to Hellenic League Premier Division side Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the second round of the Buildbase FA Vase.

The Point eased past Chipping Sodbury on Saturday, with their reward being a trip to Wiltshire to tackle a side who are 14th in their division, which is at Step Five.

Liskeard Athletic proved too strong for Wessex League Division One outfit Laverstock & Ford at Lux Park on Saturday in their 4-2 win, and have been handed another plumb home tie, this time against Keynsham Town who were 3-2 victors at Liskeard’s league rivals Newquay.

The Bristol-based club are in mid-table in the Western League Premier Division with 21 points from 15 games.

Elsewhere, there are some interesting ties involving South West Peninsula League clubs.

SWPL Premier West leaders Falmouth Town travel to Western League Buckland Athletic who beat Camelford 3-0 in the last round. SWPL Premier East high-flyers Brixham have an exciting tie with Western League Premier leaders Tavistock.

Wendron United have another home tie, this time with New Milton from the Wessex League Division One making the long trip down to West Cornwall.

All ties are likely to be played on Saturday, November 20 (3pm).
