Clubs will be keeping their fingers crossed that tomorrow (Saturday) will not see the mass postponements that have affected the South West Peninsula and East Cornwall Premier leagues over the last few weeks.

In the SWPL Saltash United Saltash United are through to the third round of the Cornwall Senior Cup where they face where they will be at home to Launceston tomorrow (Saturday). Fans are reminded that due to their floodlights at Kimberley Stadium still being out of action the kick-off will be 2pm.

Torpoint Athletic are also in Cornwall Senior Cup action when they are at high-flying Godolphin Atlantic.

Callington Town go into tomorrow’s home CSWPL game against bottom club St Blazey knowing that a win would help steer them away from the relegation zone.

Liskeard Athletic are looking to reverse their 2-1 defeat in Penzance when they take on the Magpies tomorrow in the league – a win would keep them in touch with the top teams in the SWPL Division One West.

Dobwalls are without a match on Saturday but have a mouth-watering home match next week against Plymouth Argyle’s youngsters.

ECPL Premier Division leaders Saltash United turn their attentions to the Fred Binks Premier Division Cup with a quarter-final tie at an in-form Bere Alston United tomorrow (Saturday).

Second-placed Torpoint Athletic are without a match on Saturday as their match against St Teath has been postponed due to bereavement within the club.

Edgcumbe will look to put aside their last league match, when they lost 4-1 at Callington at the beginning of December, with a win against Liskeard Athletic.

Polperro should prove too good for visitors Probus, and St Stephens Borough will look to get back to winning ways with a win over Callington Town.
