SALTASH United will be looking to bounce back to winning ways tomorrow when they take on third-placed Tavistock at Kimberley Stadium (3pm kick-off).

The Ashes, leaders of the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League, were beaten by Plymouth Argyle Reserves last weekend, putting to an end a run of 10 successive premier division wins at the start of the season.

Manager Matt Cusack, while disappointed with 2-1 defeat at Coach Road, knows his side played very well and if they reproduce that sort of form tomorrow, he’ll be delighted.

But Tavistock, managed by former Saltash coach Stuart Henderson, are in hot form too. They have won nine of their 11 league games this season, and are only two points behind the Ashes.

In their last two games - away to Keynsham in the FA Vase and at home to Cullompton Rangers in their league - they have won 6-0 on both occasions.
