Millbrook have decided to put in an application for promotion to the Carlsberg South West Peninsula League’s premier division for the 2018-19 season.

The South East Cornwall club, who almost folded last year because of crippling debts, announced their decision following a meeting on Wednesday night.

Millbrook are third in division one west, two points behind Liskeard Athletic, who have already applied to be considered for promotion.
