Paul Edwards has stepped down as assistant manager of South West Peninsula League Premier West side Callington Town.

Edwards took on the role as assistant to manager Shaun Vincent when Ryan Fice left the club to take up the manager's role at St Blazey.

Edwards has recently been standing in as manager while Vincent has been away with work commitments.

A club statement said: "Everyone at the club would like to thank Paul for all his work and efforts and wish him the best for the future."
