SPRING finally arrived last Saturday, much to the delight of Looe Sailing Club members, as the biggest fleet of the season, 27 boats took to the water.

In fact, all eight registered Lasers made the start-line – the most white sails seen in the Bay for many years.

The fine conditions gave everyone the chance of a good race, with several positional changes taking place throughout.

Closest encounter was once again in the Enterprise fleet, with the Jackman brothers competing closely for first and second.
