PENSILVA are just a point behind J J Jones Builders Duchy League Division Two leaders Sticker, but with two games in hand, following a 3-1 home victory over Premier Sixes.

The hosts went in front late in the first half when a great cross from Karl Gross was headed in by Sam Rogers.

The Pens came out flying in the second period and causes Sixes all sorts of problems.

The management team of Tony Rogers and Paul Dunbobbin then introduced Jonny Filbey, and within ten minutes the striker doubled the advantage following good work from Dylan Peel.

On 66 minutes Pensilva went 3-0 up when a well-struck Gross shot was saved by the keeper, but 'Man of the Match' Filbey was on hand to score his second.

Craig Harvey pulled a goal back with 15 minutes remaining, firing past Martyn Putt, but the goalkeeper made a great save five minutes later to stop Premier Sixes from closing the gap even further.
