The Marshmen certainly came of age in their first-ever League encounter at Priory Park, where they gained a deserved point against one of the sides expected to be there or thereabouts come next May.

Said Callington's assistant manager, John Fenwick: 'Great result for the lads at Priory Park, as this was a performance to savour and be very proud of.'

Lee Beer – who had dropped himself for the game – organised his troups from the dug-out and they were only brea-ched once, four minutes before the interval.
