The Cornwall Grand Prix series continues today (Sunday) with the Falmouth Half Marathon starting at 10am.
The race is both hilly and scenic, starting and finishing at The Falmouth Hotel, near Pendennis Castle.
After heading out to Gyllngvase Beach, runners are directed towards Swanpool and Maenporth beaches before going inland to Mawnan Smith. They then continue clockwise to Penjerrick before heading through Goldenbank and along the coast again back into Falmouth.
The Run Falmouth Half Marathon is run by and raises funds for Cornwall Hospice Care.
Last weekend runners from the East Cornwall Harriers took part in two races.
While some travelled to Bideford for the town’s half marathon, others took part in the annual charity Big Run on the Camel Trail.
