CORNISH teenager Josh Gilbert is hoping to make the most of home advantage when the opening round of the 2013 Red Bull Pro Nationals kicks-off at Landrake Moto Parc tomorrow (Saturday).

The 15-year-old is the son of former scrambling star Andrew Gilbert, whose family home was at Morval, near Looe, and whose mother, Viv, now lives in Liskeard.

Josh was the stand-out star of last summer's series and won the 'Big Wheel' 85cc class title with one round remaining but this season, he has moved up to a full-sized 250cc machine, competing against riders as old as 18 in the Rookies' division.
