DOBWALLS' under-14s made the trip to Brittany, in France, last weekend for an

end-of-season tour, which saw them play

two matches against local opposition.

After arriving early on Saturday morning in Lilia,

Dobwalls were treated to a tour of the village and then lunch at Plougerneau's clubhouse.

Hosted by the St Germans Twinning Association, the East Cornwall side took on Landeda in their first game and recorded a superb 12-0 success.

The visitors were quick out of the blocks and had opened up a six-goal cushion by half-time.

And they replicated that tally in the second period to run out convincing winners. Goals came from Harry Gilbert, (5), James Lorenz, (2), Chris Owen, Dan Goldsmith, Jacob Olver, and Kieran Roberts.
