Nigel Libby, of Ellie’s Haven, received a cheque for £286 from Tideford Cricket Club chairman Anton Luiten.
The funds were raised by the cricket club through a horse race night with a great deal of support from local businesses.
The charity, which provides holidays for children with long-term and life-limiting illnesses and their families, has just marked a year since its centre in Duloe opened.
