IT is looking unlikely that Cornishman Matt Cotton will be able to continue his assault on the British Rally Championship, due to lack of funds.
After encouraging results in the first three rounds of the series, Cotton, from St Teath, is devastated not to be starting the Jim Clark International Rally and continuing in the series.
'We had anticipated further funding coming in at this stage of the season, but it just hasn't materialised,' he said.
'We have been working hard to try and secure backing for over 12 months, but it seems the economy is taking its toll on businesses and their advertising budgets.'
