DESPITE a north-easterly breeze, another large fleet took to the waters of Looe Bay on Saturday afternoon for some good racing.

The Mirror class, in particular, produced their best racing of the season, with the battle for the top three places changing several times.

Esther Bowdler established an early lead, only to be overtaken by Billy Palfrey. He then held

the lead until the final mark, when Callum Johns came from behind to pass both of them just before the finishing line.
