Clive Rosevear Hawkey Cup Semi-Final Callington v. Werrington CALLINGTON bowed out of this year's Haw-key Cup after a comprehensive defeat at the hands of their old foes from Ladycross. The hosts took to the field without regular first-teamers Jake Libby, Jim Shorten, Tom Dinnis and Alex Robinson, but only had to wait until the fourth over for Nick Lawson to scoop one up to Adrian Robins off Nick Parker. Cornwall's Paul Smith went for seven, thanks to an Aidan Libby catch in the deep, again off Parker, and Adam Hodgson made 15 before giving Robins his second catch, this time off Simon Riddle. The home tails were up when Matt Robins had Alex Smeeth leg before for 19, to leave Werring-ton on 47 for four after 11 overs, but then Ben Smeeth and Sam Hockin added 42, before James Long bowled Smeeth for 15.
