Callington put in another poor batting performance as they suffered a heavy defeat at Ladycross. Batting first, Mat Robins had rattled up a quick 19, including four fours, when he was given leg before to Alex Smeeth, and in the very next over, Jake Libby was out the same way to the bowling of Sam Hockin. After that, only Aidan Libby (15) and Adrian Robins (10) reached double figures, with Callington's modest score of 92 all out including 25 extras. Despite having little chance of defending such a low total, the visitors started well, with Nick Parker taking the wickets of Nick Ward, lbw for ten, and Alex Smeeth, who was caught in the gulley by Alex Robinson for four.
