A COLD and wet day failed to dampen the spirits of the anglers taking part in Raleigh Sea Angling Club's annual Christmas (Fur and Feather) flounder competition.
With the kind permission of the captain of HMS Raleigh, members fished the mud flats on St John Lake, within the Naval establishment, and plenty of fish were brought to the shore.
