LISKEARD Athletic are searching for a new manager for the club's Carlsberg South West Peninsula League Premier Division side, after Paul Blatchford resigned his post.

Blatchford joined the Blues midway through last season and has helped the struggling club through a difficult period.

However, the difficulty in attracting players to Lux Park proved to be a major factor in his decision to leave.

Blatchford will not be off the Peninsula scene for long, though, as he will be back in the Tavistock dug-out at Langsford Park for Wednesday's League game against Cullompton Rangers.
