SCORING a highly-impressive ten points from just seven races, Christian Birrell and Richard Anderton are celebrating their latest success as National Fireball champions.

Looe Sailing Club yet again proved a happy hunting ground for the Weymouth helm, who finished joint second in the GP.14s there last year and won the Enterprise Worlds in 2011.

The only blip of an otherwise perfect week was the prospect of a facing a protest jury but, when that complaint was thrown out as invalid, they went on to clinch the title in some style.
