Liskeard/Looe travelled to Wadebridge aware that last year those players were their immediate rivals in the County. James Chapman opened the scoring with his first try of the season, testing his now mended arm.

Wadebridge were quick to take advantage of a mistake made by Liskeard earning three points from a penalty. Hosken and Sedgley ran strongly to gain a try each, one of these being converted by Bennett, closing the first half tally.

The second half found Liskeard/Looe starting with more conviction resulting in Hocking taking the direct route through the middle of the Wadebridge forwards and scoring. The visitors relaxed again and let Wadebridge retaliate by scoring two tries within five minutes, one being converted.

Liskeard awoke from their dreams when Andi Sheer made his re-appearance to the team by scoring in typical sprinting style down the wing. Bennett struck the ball beautifully to get the conversion.

Hosken and Sheer again repeated this tactic again both scoring strong tries on the run. Jamie Robbins converted one try.

The match was nicely finished with a remarkable move by Robert Hosken who dummied, scissored and shimmied with the agility of a cheetah passing to Simon Nance who touched down.
