The starting line was packed for the second race of the East Cornwall Harriers Primary Schools Cross-Country League, sponsored by the Cornish Times.
Poor weather conditions meant that the race was postponed and the course was altered. Although runners still faced muddy conditions, the sun shone in Liskeard on the day.
