While shopping in my local town centre recently, I took a fall. It was then that two lads who were skateboarding nearby rushed over to me. They showed concern, compassion and common sense and quickly took control of the situation, calling an ambulance and asking if they could contact any of my family members. I never did ask them their names due to the fact I was in a lot of pain and shock. I want to take this opportunity, through your paper to highlight that not all the youth of today are up to no good. There is good and bad in every generation. I owe these two boys (early teens I would imagine) a huge thank you. Without them to stay with me and offer kind words, things would have seemed an awful lot worse.
