IDENTITY and individuality will be celebrated as 70 young people take to the stage in Liskeard.

Members of the Caradon Youth Choir, Dance and Theatre groups are all set for an evening of performance entitled ‘This is Me’.

The children and young people aged between five and 18 will be joined by a six piece live band including pianist Chris Howarth and trumpeter Ian Scullion.

Early Energy Centre director Nic Early said: ‘Our concerts are going from strength to strength. All of the children are working really hard and the most fantastic thing is to see how they have grown in confidence and as individuals, which is what this concert is all about. ‘Our groups are all inclusive and we have a mission to address mental health. The performing arts are a powerful tool in helping children in many ways and especially with their mental well-being.’

This is Me will be at Liskeard Public Hall on Saturday March 17 from 7pm. For more information call 07899 953091.
