Mole Valley Farmers will again be running its Young Handlers Series in 2018. 

This league, which is open to young stock handlers (aged 12 and under on January 1, 2018), features sheep, beef and dairy categories and aims to nurture the next generation of young farmers.

Children placed first, second or third at participating shows will be allotted points throughout the season, which culminates at Holsworthy and Stratton Show on August 23.

The other qualifying shows include Liskeard on July 14 and Launceston on July 26.

At Holsworthy and Stratton Show, there will be the overall presentation to the children with the top three scores for the series. Each winner receives a cup and sash, plus £100 of Mole Valley Farmers vouchers; £50 for second place and £25 for third place.
