FUND-RAISING events organised by Pelynt’s Young Farmers Club over the past 12 months have resulted in a £3,000 donation to the Liskeard Triangle Centre.

The facility supports local people undergoing cancer treatment, and their families.

A spokesperson for Pelynt YFC said: ‘Well done to all members who have helped raise this money throughout the year through various events, you should be very proud of what we have achieved.’

On Friday, November 24, the Pelynt Young Farmers Club will hold its 60th annual dinner and dance at the Hannafore Point Hotel in Looe, and will include live music and a three-course meal.
