A POEM about Liskeard could win one lucky writer £1,000. United Press Ltd are holding a competition for the best poem about the town, no longer than 160 words. It is free to enter and is open to all ages. A competition spokesperson said: 'It can be about something or someone from the poet's home area, and we find that poems written from personal observation and experience are the most heartfelt and expressive.'
