A member of the Liskeard branch of the Royal British Legion, Dinah Clark, recently laid a small wreath of poppies in a chapel at the notorious Changi Prison in Singapore.
Dinah, during her travels to the Far East, had in mind placing a wreath in one of the memorial resting places of British forces who had died during the Second World War. She also signed the Book of Remembrance at the chapel by the side of Changi.
The members of the Liskeard branch of the RBL have thanked her for taking the trouble during her holiday to place their tribute to those who died defending freedom.
