LOOE Community School will be holding a woodwind and brass instrument workshop on Sunday, April 24, and is calling for all keen wind instrumentalists to take part. This year's workshop will be the third, and once again the tutor for the day will be John Greaves, an inspirational conductor who has the ability to bring the very best and more out of all who come along. This year, part of the day will be spent as two groups, one playing dance and swing music, while the other will play more formal ensemble works. For this session, John will be supported by Susie Tolley and Steve Clifford. At the end of the workshop, all instrumentalists will put on an impromptu concert in front of friends and relatives.
